Feishu CLI Usage Guide

The Feishu CLI Creator Contest has officially launched. Come join us!

Step 1: Install a Code Agent First

Pick any code agent you prefer: Claude desktop, Claude Code, Codex (beginner-friendly), Qwen Code, Kimi Code, and so on. The community already has plenty of installation tutorials for each of them.

If you are using Claude Code and want to skip the per-action confirmation prompts, launch it from the terminal with this flag:

claude --dangerously-skip-permissions

Step 2: Install Feishu CLI

Send the following snippet to Claude Code, Codex, or any other code agent and let it run the commands for you:

# Install lark-cli for me with the command below
npm install -g @larksuite/cli

# Then install the related skills
npx skills add https://github.com/larksuite/cli -y -g

Installation Walkthrough

1. Scan the QR code or open the link

Use the QR code or installation link provided in the official Feishu doc to start the flow.

2. Pick an avatar and a name

After landing on the linked page, choose an avatar and a display name for your CLI agent.

Task 1: Your First Job

Once setup is done, hand the agent its first task:

Great. Tell me everything you can do, write a feature guide, run a few sample tasks, and consolidate the result into a single Feishu doc.

Granting secondary authorization

The agent will hand you an authorization link. Click it to grant the permissions, and the run will continue automatically. The final deliverable is a Feishu doc titled lark-cli Feature Guide.

Task 2: Find Recent Meetings

Ask the agent to surface every meeting from the last three days. From there it can write a meeting summary, create follow-up todos, and ping the right people.

Task 3: Send and Schedule Messages

Send a message to a group chat — and even schedule it for a future time. You can also let the agent reply to unread messages on your behalf.

Task 4: Polish the Knowledge Base

Have the agent reorganize and improve a Feishu knowledge base. The output is a brand-new, better-structured landing page — for example, the optimized version of the WaytoAGI homepage.
